Originally written for ENGLISH 223: Introduction to Creative Writing during the Fall 2024 semester, this piece is a reflection on my Autistic identity. The intention was to create a piece that expressed, to some small degree, the lived experience of being autistic, and has been a jumping off point for similar writings.
Video Games As Autistic Bonding
This piece was also written for the Fall 2024 semester, but for ENGLISH 216: Introduction to Disability Studies. Our final project was meant to be a document addressing accessibility in some way; my work, directly or otherwise, posits that video games are an accessibility tool for autistic people to make, maintain, and deepen friendships and similar bonds.
